What is GovCity? GovCity is a 48-hour think tank for government, corporate and problem-inspired disruptors. It is comprised of 72 carefully deliberated upon, passionate professionals, and rising leaders from all industries. 36 of those seats are for city, state and federal employees - on purpose.
Our goal is to inspire change all over the world.
And that starts within the traditional North American systems that were created with great intentions on behalf of citizens — yet fail miserably in serving that mission. Paths need paving. Thought leaders need to be found. Legislation needs revisiting. Laws need reformation. Perspective needs changing. Perception needs shifting.
GovCity is a cohort of liked-minded pioneers and mavericks. Positive. Thought-provoking. Conscientious disruption. That's the GovCity menu.
We are intentionally vague.
Here’s the most important part. GovCity is a cross-functional collaboration done as a unit.
There's no agenda because we believe every part of the process is important to encounter together.

If you can be in Austin by noon on March 13th, you’ll be with us (with opportunities to set out and explore SXSW several times during this window of time, too) until noon on March 15.
Your application is not a final commitment, as we understand you have travel to book, families to discuss with, time off of work to request. We will be accepting applications until February 14 and accepting on a rolling basis.
Once accepted, you’ll receive more information and you will have the opportunity to confirm your attendance.
IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED INTO THE COHORT, GOVCITY IS FREE TO ATTEND. WE DO HAVE TRAINING PACKAGES AVAILABLE IF YOUR AGENCY REQUIRES.
