GlobalHack is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization fostering innovation and talent through hackathons. Its hackathons bring together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to solve real-world technology problems for real-world customers.
GlobalHack V will be the first of many GlobalHack
civic hackathons where our teams will be solving a problem for a civic entity - a nonprofit, government, school district, or some other public organization or initiative.

PROJECT DETAILS
GlobalHack V will follow the successful format of previous GlobalHack events. All teams will be assigned an identical project, the full details of which will only be released an hour before the start of the event.
TEAMS
Teams can be as few as 1, but no larger than 10. Don't worry if you don't have a team yet: go ahead and reserve your ticket now, as we provide time at the event, before the competition kicks off, to form new teams and/or join an existing team. While team members may leave the competition area to rest, teams employing unlisted remote workers will be immediately disqualified.
FOOD
Free food and drinks will be provided throughout the weekend to keep you focused on building the best prototype possible. Vegetarian options will be provided for each meal.
PARKING
Free, on-site parking will be available.
INTERNET
Free, wireless internet connection will be available.
HOTELS

MEDIA TICKETS
If you work for a media publication and are looking to cover the event, you are welcome to attend. To do so, please reserve a Media Ticket above. Those holding Media Tickets are strictly forbidden from participating in the competition or assisting any of the teams. Media credentials will be confirmed by GlobalHack staff.
