AIRVOLUTION 2017 is AirAsia’s inaugural regional hackathon that aims to spearhead innovation in the ASEAN region. Up to 100 talented individuals will participate on-site in the 18-hour event at RedQ from 18 – 19 March. They will form teams to compete for attractive prizes by creating new products or solutions and presenting them to a panel of
judges. AIRVOLUTION 2017 focuses on air travel and related themes, although the final challenge will be announced on the day of the event. The top prize is RM 25,000 (around $5,600) in cash alongside five sets of return flights to any AirAsia destination, and 100,000 of the company’s “Big” loyalty points.
