IndiGo reported a total income of ₹21,542.6 crore for Q1 FY26, reflecting a 6% year-on-year increase. The airline's operational revenue also rose by 4.7% year-on-year to ₹20,496.3 crore in the same quarter. Despite these revenue increases, IndiGo faced significant operational challenges, resulting in a net loss of ₹2,582 crore in Q2 FY26, a stark contrast to the profit of ₹2,176 crore in the previous quarter. The airline's domestic market share was reported at 64.5% in June 2025, a slight decrease from 64.6% in May 2025, while it had a market share of 64.2% in August 2025, down from 65.2% in July 2025. IndiGo served over 31 million passengers in Q1 FY26, marking a 12% year-on-year growth in customer numbers. However, the airline experienced widespread operational disruptions, leading to the cancellation of thousands of flights and significant delays, which adversely affected customer experience and operational capacity.
