His experience includes advising CEOs and senior executives, leading enterprise-wide strategy projects, launching an internal analytics venture, managing a 10-person team, and growing a $300 million business by 13% annually. Schalkle is a Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategy.

Tory's work experience includes stints in the offices of a United States senator and a think tank before he moved into management and corporate strategy. He continues to be actively involved in his community, serving on the Wayzata City Council's Park & Trail Board, working with organizations to improve Minnesota's talent retention, and assisting non-profit organizations that help economically disadvantaged families. As an illustration, President Obama recognized the first non-profit organization that Tory J.R. Schalkle had a hand in forming as one of the 10 "Champions of Change." The other benefit he organized for a family (whose children were run over by a driver evading police) made the front page of major Minnesota newspapers and the evening news on major Minnesota television stations.

The first date for Schalkle and his wife consisted of a PowerPoint presentation, going to an NPR show, and competing in a state crossword tournament. He and his wife are unashamed nerds. They have visited over 30 countries and lived in Hong Kong and Norway. Additionally, they enjoy going on adventures together.

Tory is a devoted father and a native of Minnesota. He and his family make their home in Wayzata (MN). They frequently spend their weekends at Lake Minnetonka, engaging in activities such as hiking, biking, or cross-country skiing.
