Dr. Hübner majored in medical technology, studied business engineering alongside his job, earning a postgraduate degree therein and then a doctoral degree in health science (Dr. sc. hum.)
His professional career started in 1998 in the Technical Controlling Department of the Rhön-Klinikum AG, a medical center, where he was general head of one of
their corporate clinics. His subsequent career path took him to work for 12 years as managing partner of a research-intensive and highly innovative medical technology company (with international alignment) for cardiovascular functional diagnostics (www.enverdis.com). He developed entirely novel diagnostic methods and launched them on the market.
He was the primarily responsible for managing the departments of Research and Development, Production, Clinical Trials and Statistics, Quality Management according to ISO 9001/13485, Intellectual Property and Professional Education. In parallel, he was significantly responsible for strategic sales and marketing and for the international key opinion leader network.
He acquired and implemented nine R&D third-party projects for the company. In close collaboration with colleagues from hospitals, institutions of higher education and universities of applied sciences, Dr. Hübner has published 12 scientific articles, reviews and contributions to conference proceedings (as lead or co-author).
