Joel Levee, one of the three co-founders of ActivNetworks is a true technology innovation visionary. He designs and leads the major technological projects at ActivNetworks where he manages the development team and initiates the product strategy.
With 25 years of experience in developing software and electronic, Joel is an expert in signal
processing and language theory (compilation and neuro-linguistic programming). As a project manager in robotics, he developed a real-time scheduler and a PID motion control software. He has also developed several compilers, including a basic industrial model for process management.
For 15 years he has worked in the field of network protocols and data compression. As R & D director, he is a firm believer in the "Kelly Johnson" school of management, tackling major projects with a small, closely-knit team.
