After graduating from Kyoto University, Jin joined Mitsubishi Chemical in 1992. He worked for the Magneto Optical Disks Division and experienced production control, business development and product planning. In 1994, he introduced the early stages of the Web as part of a promotional campaign for Magneto Optical disks in Japan. The clear shell case
optical disk designed by Jin was adopted in the movie, “Mission Impossible”. He was attracted to the world of internet and joined Sun Microsystems in 1996, which had the vision “The Network is The Computer”. He achieved great success in sales in the telecommunication and systems integrator sectors. After management positions in the Corporate Planning Office and Finance Services Business Division, he was appointed as the Executive Officer at Sun Microsystems K.K. in 2009. Sun was then acquired by Oracle in 2010. He led the Systems Division as the Vice President. and Executive Officer in Oracle for two years. Jin founded VELDT Inc. in August of 2012, in his pursuit to create the future of the internet and AI.
