I launched Fectar in early 2020 and the free VR/AR app has since had over 6 million downloads worldwide. It enables users to collaborate in a 3D environment with different devices (both VR and AR) at the same time.
Among other things, the platform has been used to develop an Augmented Reality experience for children in Ukraine about the
risks of unexploded Russian munitions and mines.
At the beginning of 2023, Fectar was in the news because of the inclusion of the startup in the Dealroom.co list of 100 promising start-ups in the Benelux.
The Fectar app is available for free in the Android and Apple app stores.
To be innovative today is all about execution. I find motivational inspiration in acquiring and exercising the ability to make a difference and I am a vocal advocate of initiating and managing companies to resolve digital transformation issues. I believe in achieving operational excellence while working in dynamic environments.
In the past 20 years I have emerged as a successful entrepreneur and manager. And my management principles revolve around integrating vision, humour and creativity to exercise leadership.
