Liftopia’s technology has helped evolve the ski industry to adopt more control over advance-purchase pricing, much like airlines and hotels have done for decades, to most efficiently price through periods of highly variable demand.

Liftopia was co-founded in 2005 by two former Hotwire.com employees Evan Reece and Ron Schneidermann. It is headquartered in San Francisco and backed by leading institutional and angel investors.
