The company was founded in 2013 by Konstantin Zedelius, Otto Reygers, Basile Schellmann and Nicolas Clemm. KRAGÜ was named Germany’s student startup of the year in 2013 and finished 3rd in Europe’s largest startup competition in 2014. Subsequent features among others in InStyle, Men’s Health, FAZ, Bunte, Manual as well as TV appearances on ProSieben and RTL2 fuelled the company’s growth and made it one of the “Labels to watch” of the leading magazine Textilwirtschaft.
In 2017 KRAGÜ was acquired by entrepreneur Mansur Hakimi.
Today, KRAGÜ’s products are available in 30+ stores across Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the online shop on kragu.com.
