Words With Friends is a social mobile game that challenges players to create the highest-scoring words while playing with family and friends. Users can connect with players of similar skills with “Smart Match”; expand their vocabulary with an online dictionary and word of the day options; track their performance and improvement with detailed stats; chat with their friends in-game; access games from tablets, phones, and computers; and download game stats and new features.
Words With Friends was launched by Zynga in 2009.
