Whrrl is a social location-based game with a purpose: to get people out into the world trying new things. To that end, Whrrl introduces a totally new way to explore and experience your city.
In Whrrl, people join Societies, which are passion groups for the real-world. Whether you're a foodie, antiquer, mountain biker, margarita-lover or mom trying to entertain her kids, there's a Society for that. People opt into the Societies that fit their lifestyles, and once in, they inspire each other to try new experiences through recommendations and photos/notes that capture their real-world experiences.
Whrrlers earn "influence points" as they try new things themselves and successfully inspire others to try things, and they share ("prove") their adventures by sharing photos and text with friends and other Society members. Leveling up in Societies unlocks powers and Society Rewards from merchant and brand partners.
