For the past twenty years, Yaron Gold's main field of expertise has been Machine Vision and
Image Processing, including detection, enhancement and 3-D Reconstruction.
Yaron Gold is a veteran of the reputable IDF unit 8200, served as faculty member at the University of Connecticut, USA, and at the Technion, Israel, and later held research and development positions at a number of institutions and companies, including NASA Ames Research Center, Sun Microsystems, and Applied Materials.
