As a U.S. Navy Veteran and long-time practicing physician, AbleVets CEO Dr. Wyatt Smith experienced firsthand how Veterans and Active Duty servicemembers access care, benefits and services. He spent two decades working with federal and health IT organizations to rethink and optimize care delivery—bringing his clinical leadership and expertise to
drive patient-centered IT solutions. In 2012, Dr. Smith founded AbleVets with a mission to improve the lives of those who have served by applying the best technology.
Previously Dr. Smith served as Deputy CIO for the Military Health System. He is also an academic professor and board-certified physician.
