Macaulay joined HarbourVest in 2008 and became a senior portfolio associate in 2012. He focuses on the activities of HarbourVest Global Private Equity Limited (HVPE), a closed-end investment company that invests in and alongside HarbourVest-managed funds, and HarbourVest Senior Loans Europe Limited (HSLE), a closed-end investment company that
invests in senior loans issued by European mid-market companies. Billy analyzes and monitors investments and cash flows, and provides operations and communications support.
He joined the Firm after five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he most recently served as a senior associate in the Boston-based transaction services group. His experience also includes working as an auditor in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ financial services group in Dallas.
