Mr. Keever retired from Vodafone Group PLC in June of 2003 as Chief Executive Officer of the Asia Region. This retirement culminated a 38-year career in telecommunications. Prior to his retirement position he was President of Americas Asia region for Vodafone.
Mr. Keever served in a variety of management and executive positions with Pacific
BELL, Pac Tel, AirTouch and Vodafone, and was one of the first employees on the Mannesmann Mobilfunk team in Germany. At the same time, he served on the board of directors of Belgacom Mobile in Belgium, and Airtel, our venture in Spain, and was on the Executive Committee of the GSM Association. He and his family lived nearly the entire decade of the ’90s. He became President of AirTouch International in 1998.
Mr. Keever and his family relocated to Yountville in the Napa Valley shortly after returning to the US. They have founded Keever Vineyards, LLC which is a small, super premium Cabernet Sauvignon producer. Keever Vineyards opened its winery in the summer of this year. Bill serves as President of Keever Vineyards, LLC.
