Will is the Founder and Lead Investor at Pioneer Ventures. He started his career working abroad in Prague, Czech Republic for a global data center. Upon returning to the US, he earned his MBA at the University of Colorado Boulder and then became one of the first General Managers at Uber, responsible for launching and leading the Colorado market.
Will then joined Amazon Logistics until Uber’s IPO, and leveraged his operational experience to embark on his angel investing career.
A strong believer in the power of education, Will started two scholarships at his respective alma maters, the University of Kansas and University of Colorado Boulder, where he is still passionately involved as a Guest Lecturer and student mentor. Will believes that the liberal arts informs and inspires a mindset of solving challenges through building brands, technology, and sustainability solutions for our future.
While not working, you will find cycling, skiing, and golfing with friends, in the yoga studio or planning his next trip. He has studied abroad in four countries and is a life-long learner, fancying himself as an amateur historian. He splits time between Denver, Colorado and Big Sky, Montana.
