Wen-Chi is the President and Chief Executive Officer at VIA Technologies Inc. since 1992. Under Wen-Chi’s leadership, VIA has transformed from a chipset designer to a leading developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions driving innovation in PCs, notebooks, thin clients and embedded systems.
Wen-Chi serves as a Non-Executive
Member of the Board of Directors at Television Broadcasts Limited, Member of the Board of Trustees at Caltech and a Member of the Board of Directors at HTC Corporation.
Wen-Chi was selected as a top entrepreneur by BusinessWeek in its 2001 “The Stars of Asia: 50 Leaders at the Forefront of Change.” A graduate of the National Taiwan University and the California Institute of Technology.
Wen-Chi is a Member of the Information Science and Technology (IST) Advisory Council in Caltech's Division of Engineering and Applied Science.
Wen-Chi received a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Caltech.
