Having been involved in education, educational technologies and education research for more than 25 years, Wayne is currently Principal Researcher (Education) for Nesta (www.nesta.org.uk). He holds a PhD in Learning and Technology from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Education (Oxon), and an MA in Philosophy (distinction). His research focus is
on the application of AI in education, especially the social and ethical implications. He is a member of the UK Parliament's All Party Parliamentary Group on AI (Education Taskforce) and is developing with UNESCO policy guidelines for AI in education. He has also co-authored three books on AI in education, most recently: Artificial Intelligence in Education. Promise and Implications for Teaching and Learning.
