Vikram Saletore is a Deep Learning Performance Architect with the Big Data Solutions team in Intel’s Data Center Group. Vikram has been with Intel for 18 years and for the past many years worked on performance optimization of Big Data workloads over Hadoop and Spark. For the past couple of years he has focused on the performance of Intel’s Trusted
Analytics Platform, Graph Analytics and Machine Learning algorithms over Spark clusters. Prior to Intel, Vikram was a faculty member in Computer Science at Oregon State University, and directly supervised 8 students (PhD + MS).
