Vic Herrera, Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for supporting the technology initiatives for DTT's mission-critical infrastructure and administrative functions. Beginning in the late '80s, Vic started setting up standalone CRM systems. By the mid-'90s, Vic was working hands-on at InterAccess, Chicago's premiere ISP. From
there, he took on a senior position at the engineering group Divine.
Vic moved to the west coast in 2002 and implemented the Quality School Portfolio developed by the National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing at UCLA (CRESST), for the No Child Left Behind program. Several school districts hosted their student testing information in this environment as Vic worked extensively with UCLA and Dr. Robert Bortnick to collect and provide critical student test data. During this time, Vic also staffed the successful Schwarzenegger Gubernatorial Campaign with technical help at their Los Angeles Headquarters. Vic joined DTT early in 2004 to head up DTT's technology efforts.
In June of 2012 Vic was an LA Business Journal's CTO of the year honoree.
