Mr. Laverty has held a variety of senior leadership positions with Agilent Technologies (7 years), Hewlett-Packard (23 years), and International Development & Educational Associates (IDEAS) (4 years), where he currently serves as President.
Mr. Laverty joined Hewlett-Packard in 1977 and over the course of his 30-year business career, gained
experience in Sales, Sales Management, Service Management, Operations and Call Centers both in the US and globally. When Hewlett-Packard spun off Agilent Technologies as a separate company in 1999, Mr. Laverty held the position of Agilent’s World Wide Sales, Marketing and Customer Services Engineering Manager.
Mr. Laverty earned his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland with graduate studies in Physical Chemistry at Catholic University of America.
