Vanessa joined Siemens Venture Capital (SVC) in November 2014 as an Investment Analyst. She is responsible for the analyses and due diligences of venture and technology growth capital funds mainly in the U.S., Europe, China and Israel.
Before joining SVC, she worked for almost two years as a research assistant within a newly established project
group of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Augsburg. There she was responsible for project management and operations of research and consulting projects in the area of energy and resource efficient production.
Prior to that, Vanessa studied Management and Technology at Technische Universität München with majors in Entrepreneurial Finance, Marketing and Mechanical Engineering. During her studies, she had supported the VC fund-of-funds and direct investment teams of SVC in Munich and Boston, respectively for about one year as an intern. Furthermore, she spent parts of her studies in Shanghai.
