mapz.com for the first time allows real cross-media publishing of maps. This might change the way publisher think about Google Maps & Co. fundamentall, because the wide range of communication channels presents a problem: The intended content for publishing must be equally suitable for all channels. While text and images usually fulfill this
criterion, this is not normally the case with map displays.
Although today rarely does one app or business intelligence system get by without attractive map representations, the data formats and granted use of publication rights of the big players are designed purely for screen display.
If a publisher wants to place an online-created map in printed annual reports, market analyses, books, posters, flyers or print ads, the search begins for equally suitable map material for all of these channels.
This is the reason we developed mapz.com. The mapz-Engine allows the creation of interactive maps for online use, which can also be printed in high resolution. And this in stunning cartographic quality.
We created High Definition Maps.
The system allows the import of geographic coordinates for location visualization as well as line elements, area elements and metadata.
It can be used for embedding interactive maps, downloading vector-maps for further processing in graphic design software and for batch-exporting several hundred high-resolution city maps within a few hours. In addition, the maps can be integrated via WMS-server into business intelligence systems such as Tableau and form the graphical basis for Big Data analysis.
Users of mapz.com of mapz.com increase productivity dramatically as they have to prepare a map only once to use it for all communication channels you can think of.
