In 2007, Thon founded Kimbia, Inc. a company that provides Web based campaign management solutions to the fund raising and participatory event industries. As the company’s first chief executive, Thon lead Kimbia to several notable accomplishments including raising $4.5 million in angel capital, achieving the first two million in revenue within 2 years of product launch, and building an award-winning platform that leads the industry in performance and scalability. Kimbia developed solutions for such notable clients as the America Heart Association, GuideStar and Sage Nonprofit Solutions (now Abila.)
