Tom is a General Partner at Startup Capital Ventures, a Palo Alto venture capital firm. Tom became a limited partner in 2005, and he joined as a team member in 2012. Tom is on the board of directors of Hanwha SolarOne (NASDAQ: HSOL) as well as several private companies.
Tom graduated from Northwestern University with B.A. and MBA degrees. He taught the New Venture Finance course at San Francisco State's MBA school, and he is a regular volunteer panelist for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce's Job Forum
