Summer joined NLVC in 2008, bringing with her prior experiences in private equity and venture capital investing, investment banking and entrepreneurship. Prior to NLVC, Summer worked for the Pacific Corporate Group (PCG), and the investment banking division of Gousen Securities. Summer’s management and entrepreneurial background also includes
co-founding a medical device startup, Banghe Medical Co.
Summer holds a BE degree in Finance from the School of Finance, Renmin University of China and a dual MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. During her school years, Summer served as the first student volunteer for UNDP to be sent to China to support its “Global Sustainable Growth” program.
