Sujit is responsible for the company’s financial activities in India including all aspects of
accounting, planning and analysis, controllership, tax, treasury, compliance, etc. He is also
responsible for managing the Line of Business Finance teams and providing financial guidance
and insight to the senior management team in India as well as all
financial and business
stakeholders in the broader Disney India community.
He has earlier worked with Castrol India Ltd, where he was Director – Finance with additional
responsibility of Financial Controls and Compliance for BP’s Lubricants business globally. Since
starting his career with BP in 2003 at Castrol India, he has worked in varied roles across the
Lubricant business in India and globally, in the Gas & Power and Alternative Energy businesses
in UK. Besides his extensive and varied experience in BP, he also brings a lot of diverse
experience, having worked in multi-national companies such as Procter & Gamble, Citicorp, ITC
AgroTech, KPMG and Boston Consulting Group.
Sujit is a qualified chartered accountant and commerce graduate from University of Bombay
with 25 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of financial control & reporting,
business performance & risk management, as well as planning and strategy.
