Steven Elder is a British actor, hailing from Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Steven has a long career in playing leading roles in several feature films including Hounds of War (2023) with Robert Patrick, Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop (2020) with Kelsey Grammar, Seized (2019) with Mario van Peebles, The King (2018) with Timothée Chalamet
and Robert Pattison, and United Passions (2014) with Tim Roth. Steven has had leading roles in many US and UK television programmes such as A Spy Among Friends (2022) with Damian Lewis and Guy Pierce, Doctors (2000 – 2023), and Lost (2005 – 2010).
Steven Elder has also performed in the television programmes: Carnival Row (2019 – 2023) with Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, Apple Tree Yard (2017), Rillington Place (2016), Inspector George Gently (2007 – 2017) and Robin Hood (2006 – 2009). Some of Steven’s earliest roles, included the UK television programmes Suffer the Little Children (1994) and Judge John Deed (2001 - 2007). Steven Elder has performed on stage / theatre with The Royal Shakespeare Company at the Globe Theatre in London and the London West End as both a lead star and guest star.
As a film writer and producer, Steven co-wrote the feature film Skin Trade (2014) featuring Dolph Lundgren (Ivan Drago from Rocky IV), and is currently developing two features; Two Feet (TBA) with director/producer Mark Roper and Land of Morning Calm (TBA).
