Prof. Conolly is a the Montford Cook Professor of Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science at the University of California Berkeley. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where he developed new types of MRI scanners for over twenty years. At Berkeley he has applied his knowledge of building
new imaging systems to MPI. He has a history of innovation, and for his many inventions, he was named one of only 24 people named a Stanford Outstanding Inventor.
