Stephen Shute joined SAP as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer in 2019.Steve Shute leads the Sales and Services organization at Allscripts. He joined the Company in July 2011 and brought significant leadership experience to Allscripts, with an emphasis on helping clients use technology to solve complex issues and to take
advantage of transformational opportunities.
Shute came to Allscripts from IBM Corporation. During his 14 years at IBM, he held numerous senior executive leadership positions, both domestically and internationally. Shute’s most recent role was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Enterprise Content Management.
Prior to working at IBM, Shute was a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand’s Business Assurance practice, where he worked on a variety of audit engagements with world class companies such as AT&T and Fidelity Investments.
Shute received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton. Shute also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
