One of the founding management team. As Director of Portfolio Development, I have overseen the majority of Digital Science's portfolio investments, taking early-stage startup founders through product and business model validation to launch and growth. On occasion I have stepped in at C-level to help a company with a particularly challenging
issue.
I closely manage the relationship between the portfolio companies and our corporate parent company, ensuring the right balance is struck between corporate oversight and freedom to innovate in a startup culture.
Separate to our main investments I also manage the Catalyst Grant award, a twice-yearly award of up to £25k for early stage ideas.
