Stephen Miles has over 12 years of experience advising middle market companies on merger and acquisition transactions, debt and equity placements, and corporate restructurings (both in and out of the bankruptcy courts). During his career, Mr. Miles has worked with private equity groups, entrepreneurs, and major corporations to build diversified
industry experience in the general industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms, Mr. Miles was a managing director and principal at Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company ("BGL"), a middle market investment banking boutique. At BGL, Mr. Miles was involved in some of the firm's largest and most complex cross-border M&A and corporate restructuring assignments. Previously, Mr. Miles was a vice president in the mergers and acquisitions group at Morgan Keegan & Company and started his investment banking career at Goldsmith Agio Helms in the Minneapolis office.
Mr. Miles holds a bachelor of science in accountancy from the University of Missouri and earned a masters of business administration from the Olin School of Business at Washington University.
