Stephen was born in Orlando, Florida and is the 7th of 8 children. He volunteered from 2009-2011 in South Africa and Botswana. He is currently a junior at Brigham Young University studying Finance and has passed the CFA Level 1 exam.
When he was 15 years old, he convinced his brother to open a brokerage account after being introduced to
financial markets in an AP US History high school class. Stephen began managing his brother's $500 portfolio at that time by trading equities and stock options.
