Sofia Sombreireiro joined Explorer Investments in 2013 and is currently Controller of the Discovery Fund. Initially she was part of the Expansion Capital team where she was responsible for the financial information of the Fund and collaborated in the final stage of investments.
She previously worked at Deloitte, where she began her career in
2005, as an auditor in the division of Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Construction & Real Estate & Utilities, participating in audit projects in these sectors.
She has a degree in Organization and Management by ISCTE (2005) and an Executive Master in Advanced Accounting and Taxation at INDEG / ISCTE (2008).
