Upon NTT DOCOMO acquisition in 2012, Buongiorno was renamed DOCOMO Digital,and Simona was appointed to launch and lead aCorporate Acceleration & Venture Program (b-ventures) aimed at accelerating the growth of tech startups, with special focus on the Fintech sector, being also involved asmember of the Selection Committee of several acceleration
programs funded by the European Commission.
Today Simona still seats as BoD member of two startups accelerated by b-venturesfrom 2012 and 2018: Oval Money and DNAphone. Prior to that, Simona worked at Accenture, specializing in design and installation of IT solutions in the banking sector.Simona graduated at Alma Mater Studiorum -Università di Bologna, in Statistics Science.
