Dr. Simon Wallace is CTO and co-founder of Suffrago, combining deep technical expertise with a passion for political data analysis. A self-described "Tech Nerd who learned how to speak human," Simon holds a Ph.D. in Statistics and brings over 10 years of AI and data experience to the role.
Simon's technical leadership has been
instrumental in Suffrago's rapid development, building the entire platform as a solo developer and taking it from concept to production in just 12 weeks. His expertise spans data modelling, AI systems, and connecting complex government datasets to create actionable insights.
Beyond technical background, Simon brings solid business understanding of the startup space, having worked in and advised multiple startups as well as advising investors. His passion for psephology (the study of elections and voting behaviour) directly informs Suffrago's approach to political data analysis.
As CTO, Simon has architected Suffrago's proprietary "Voce Populi" engine and created the constituency-level data models that provide MPs with insights they typically don't have access to. His work bridges the gap between complex statistical analysis and practical political application.
