Simon’s deep payment knowledge was developed by working in management positions at various institutions including, The Federal Reserve Bank, MasterCard, CheckFree,
Online Resources, Western Union.
He specializes in new product and business development for payment-services. Simon’s experience includes consulting on electronic payment solutions for companies in the US as well as in Austria, Germany, Greece, Switzerland and the UK.
One of his major achievements was designing a private, electronic payment infrastructure that launched in 1982 and continues to be utilized by all of the banks and other providers of PC and phone-based consumer bill-payment services in the US. He also launched the first cash payment service for airline ticket purchases. Simon has published several articles on electronic bill payments, has presented at payment conferences in the US and Europe, and is a recognized leader and innovator in electronic payment processing.
Simon received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University. His MA from Tulane University.
