President, SCL Elements Inc. Simon Leblond is a serial entrepreneur with a background in economy and finance. He co-founded SCL Elements in 2009 to develop and commercialize what would become the innovative CAN2GO™ wired/wireless multi-protocol controllers for building automation. This followed the launch in 2004 of SCL Medtech, a manufacturer
of specialized equipment for medical research and diagnostics, a very different industry, but with similar requirements for reliability, automation and precision hardware and software.
Simon Leblond holds B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees in economics from the University of Montreal. He has complementary training in Accounting from HEC-Montreal and in Technology Entrepreneurship by the MIT. Simon began his career as an entrepreneur and investor with Manolson and Leblond, a real estate investment and management company that he co-founded.
