Based out of Bangalore, India, Shrish is an entrepreneur/evangelist focused on innovation in India. He has 20 years of experience in areas as varied as Software Application Development, IT operations support, Project and Program Management, Operations excellence and Technology Development for the social sector.
As a managing partner at
NSquare partners (US), he worked with multinational firms creating operational playbooks, both for investing and expanding in India. He has worked with a US based mid-size firm to incubate their back office operations. He has also worked with an India-based Diagnostics/Tele radiology firm to start operations and organically expand in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. He is an early stage investor for a firm that is involved in reviving ancient games and toys.
Shrish took a mid-career break to fulfil his passion for working in the social development sector. He completed a full time Master's program in Development, before joining a not-for-profit organization as the Thematic lead for Technology. He was directly responsible for building the portfolio of Technology in Public Health, conceptualizing and executing a variety of challenging assignments as well as capacitating team members in this thematic area. He oversaw the execution of a mhealth app for Maternal and child health (MCH, MNCH) that provides a decision support functionality for health workers. He was instrumental in evaluating a number of technology solutions for a large HIV program funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
During his stint with various technology companies, Shrish has handled a wide range of assignments. As a Delivery Manager with Mphasis (now part of Blackstone group), he has setup and managed offshore delivery centres in India for international clients. As a support manager for ANZ Banking Group, he has trained and setup offshore application and infrastructure support teams. His core experience lies in working with cross cultural teams working from different Geographies.
