Shawn Stith concurrently serves as the Chief of National System forGeospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Capabilities and Integration and as the ActingDeputy Director of the Office of Geospatial-Intelligence Management. On behalf of the GEOINT Functional Manager,the organization monitors GEOINT capabilities, programs, resources andactivities, leads the
development and implementation of community-widepolicies, strategies, and planning guidance needed to maximize GEOINT programinvestments, and implements the NSG strategic management cycle as it supportsprogram build activities. Prior tojoining NGA's civilian workforce in August 2004, Shawn Stith served as a careerMarine Corps intelligence officer, with emphasis on GEOINT activities.
