Sharon Smith is the founder of C-Suite Results where her work as an executive coach is focused on helping leaders create organizations of unparalleled excellence. When employees thrive so does the organization and the bottom line. As she discusses in her book, The Corporate Detox, too many people are counting down the days until Friday or just
hanging in there. Sharon has seen from her decade as an information security consultant, more than half of which was on the road, that too many people are disengaged from what they do. That leads to a personal lack of empowerment and translates to low engagement, high turnover, and reduced profits.
Sharon has taken her talent for understanding complex processes in technology and now looks at the human operating system. Technology is actually much easier to update with new code, doing this with people and the human operating system is much more challenging, but also much more fun and more rewarding.
Sharon has held many certifications within the security industry to include the CISA, CISSP, PCI-QSA, PA-QSA, and CEH. As a coach Sharon is a certified professional coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and holds their Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) designation. Sharon received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University and her Masters in Forensic Science, High Technology Crimes Investigations from The George Washington University.
