Serafim is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University. His research focuses on computational methods for sequence analysis, particularly in whole-genome assembly and comparative genomics. His research group has a track record of producing widely-used tools in computational genomics of high accuracy and computational efficiency.
