Upon completing a Thomas Watson Fellowship in 2000 that brought him throughout Europe, Scott Stedman began his media career as a contributing writer for MIT’s Technology Review. Following his move to Brooklyn in 2003, Scott and his brother Daniel, launched The L Magazine from a one bedroom apartment.
This small media company evolved into
Northside Media Group. Scott is a board member for the Greenpoint YMCA and Open Space Alliance. He is currently training to run the 2014 Boston Marathon for the Dana Farber Institute to help fund innovation research on cancer.
