Scott Fabro is responsible for the commercial development and operations for all Evolva ingredients that span the health ingredients market, flavor and fragrance business and pest control sector as the chief operating officer. In his role, Farbo has led broader adoption of Veri-te™ resveratrol in the dietary supplement market and launched
NootkaShield™ nootkatone as an innovative biopesticide ingredient to the pest control market. He also oversees Evolva’s supply chain.
Fabro has 28 years of executive management experience in the food and beverage industry leading strategy, marketing, business development, research and development, commercialization and profit and loss. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
As vice-president of ingredient sales at Sweet Harvest Foods, he drove growth for new products and market share. He served as global business director for High Intensity Sweeteners at Cargill, including Truvia® ingredient stevia and ViaTech® stevia solutions. He also led strategy for EverSweet™ with Evolva and was business director for omega 3 and beta-glucan products with Cargill’s Health & Nutrition unit. Previously, Fabro was commercial director for nutritional lipids, specialty powders and Aromont at Kerry. He was also business director and general manager of Humko Specialty Powders at ACH Foods.
