Sandeep has worked in the corporate and creative industries for over 30 years.
His hard-to-get-rid-of passion for storytelling and a need to be surrounded by diversely creative people, made him break the mould and pursue a career in filmmaking after securing an engineering degree & an MBA.
In 2014, he wrote, directed and co-produced the
feature film ‘Manjunath’ with Viacom18 & NFDC, which won him the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Cinema.
Sandeep spearheads an advertising agency and is part of the academic council of SPJIMR’s PSMEM programme for students, launched in partnership with The Times of India Group. He also enjoys creating quirky audio-visual digital content.
Having spent years in the film industry, he came to question its inherent chaotic nature and leaking budgets, and decided that it needed immediate attention. The germ of that idea was Filmboard.
