Russell Johnson serves as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales for Barracuda Networks.
In this role, he leads the company’s CRN-rated Five-Star Partner Program, overseeing programs, operational metrics, tools and marketing initiatives to further enable Barracuda channel partners and distributors.
Prior to this role, he held
several positions with the company including Vice President of Operations, where he was responsible for optimizing business workflow, and Vice President of International Sales, where he successfully defined and implemented the company’s international go-to-market strategy.
He has been with Barracuda since September 2010, and brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and general management leadership to the organization, including his prior role as President for the Semiconductor Division of e2v, and sales and management positions at Applied Micro Circuits and Adaptec, both NASDAQ traded companies, where he led product roadmap and marketing strategies resulting in the successful sale of his Applied Micro Circuits division to LSI.
Johnson served time in the U.S. Navy as a Deep Sea Diver in charge of deep sea diving operations worldwide.
