Roy has led product management and software engineering at several startups and large multinational technology companies.
Prior to co-founding Intuition Robotics, Roy served as VP Product Management & Strategy of CloudBand Business Unit at Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU), where he was part of the founding team. CloudBand is a market-leading
platform for Network Function Virtualization (NFV). This business was credited as a major driver in Nokia’s decision to acquire Alcatel-Lucent.
Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Roy served as Senior Director at British Telecom (BT) headquarters in London. Working for the chief architect of BT, Roy was responsible for identifying and developing disruptive programs that could dramatically impact BT business and operations.
Roy holds an MBA from London City University (CASS Business School) and a B.A. in computer science and mathematics from Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
