Rowena joined Citi Ventures in early 2011 as a Director in the Shanghai office. She focuses on new venture concepts and new market opportunities in Asia. Rowena brings a unique mix of experience to the CitiVentures team with over 14 years of marketing, operations, and management experience with blue chip companies including Electronic Arts, Disney,
Orange, and Nike.
Prior to joining Citi, she was the deputy GM for EA China. In the 6 years with the company, she helped establish EA's presence in China and led the launch of its online games business in the market.
Rowena has a BA in International Relations from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA degree from London Business School. She also spent a year as an exchange student in Peking University, Beijing. She now lives in Shanghai with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves to cook, travel and enjoys photography as a hobby
